Every Baby Well Prenatal Pure Packs were designed to provide optimal nutrition support from preconception through pregnancy and into the postpartum period while breastfeeding and recovering from delivery.

Unlike many over-the-counter prenatal options, Prenatal Pure Packs includes the correct, active forms of micronutrients for better absorption and utilization on the cellular level, for both mom and baby.

Inside the womb, a developing baby’s entire food supply comes from its mother.

In order to give every baby the best start in life, it is essential for a woman to have optimal nutrition herself, preferably in advance of becoming pregnant.

One of the foundations of a healthy pregnancy is a nutrient-dense diet based on whole, unprocessed foods.

However, even a well-formulated diet may have shortfalls of nutrients required for healthy fetal development, which may have long-term repercussions in childhood and beyond.

Each box contains 30 am + 30 pm packets.

Each packet contains:

• 2 - Prenatal Pure Multi Capsules

• 1 - Prenatal Pure Minerals Tablet

• 1 - Prenatal Pure Omega Softgel

The Prenatal Multivitamin

Designed to provide a broad foundation of nutrients to augment and complement an average diet. Its formulation was guided by established Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDAs) and Adequate Intakes (AIs), average nutrient consumptions and common insufficiencies in typical US diets, and intensive support for a healthy pregnancy and optimal fetal development.

Highlights

B Vitamins: required for an array of critical biochemical reactions that support healthy overall metabolism and energy production*

Folate: required for DNA synthesis, healthy cellular growth and repair, and for proper development of the fetal neural tube, a structure that becomes the brain and spinal cord. The folate in Prenatal Multivitamin is a form of methylated folate proven to raise plasma folate levels and bypass some of the obstacles associated with synthetic folic acid, such as a genetic issues that can impair the conversion of folic acid to active folate.*

Iodine & Selenium: support healthy thyroid function and synthesis of thyroid hormones. Proper thyroid hormone levels in an expectant mother help support healthy brain and neurological development in her baby.*

Choline: a vitamin-like nutrient essential for proper brain development and the structure of all cell membranes*

Vitamin E isomers: provided as the tocotrienol fractions of the vitamin E complex, which are more potent than the commonly used tocopherols and have different biological effects. Tocopherols are more easily obtained from a typical diet than are tocotrienols; the tocotrienols in Prenatal Multivitamin augment the more readily available dietary tocopherols.

Vitamin C: provided at a level higher than the current US RDA, as the RDA was not intended to support optimum health, but rather, to prevent overt deficiency. The modern diet is generally low in vitamin C, an important antioxidant nutrient that’s also essential for a healthy immune system, collagen synthesis, and dietary iron absorption.*

Chelated Minerals: The zinc, copper, manganese, molybdenum, chromium and iron in this product are provided as highly bioavailable chelates. Chelated minerals are easily absorbed and highly bioavailable because they bypass common obstacles to effective absorption, such as low stomach acid or compromised digestive function. The iron in this product will not result in constipation or GI upset, as is experienced with many conventional iron supplements.

Chromium: a trace mineral that supports proper regulation of mom’s blood sugar and insulin levels, critical for a healthy pregnancy

Prenatal Pure Minerals:

Highlights:

Prenatal Pure Minerals is a unique blend of nutrients formulated to restore and maintain healthy bones, with required vitamins and minerals provided in their most absorbable forms. The key minerals in Prenatal Pure Minerals – calcium and magnesium – are bound to malic acid for enhanced absorption, and synergistic zinc, copper and manganese are chelated for superior bioavailability.

Highly Absorbable Minerals A mineral amino acid chelate is made up of an amino acid that has two or more donor groups combined with the mineral so that the molecular structure contains one or more rings. Chelate structures contain covalent bonds, setting them apart from traditional ionically-bonded mineral salt forms. Albion® has combined science and technology to create organic molecules in a form the body can readily assimilate, resulting in superior absorption. True chelates are not only absorbed better than mineral salts, but they are retained better in body tissue (such as bone). Complexing calcium and magnesium with malic acid allows delivery of higher elemental amounts of these minerals.

It also facilitates better absorption and retention, while preventing some of the unpleasant gastrointestinal side effects common with other forms of these minerals, such as calcium carbonate. Owing to its superior bioavailability, the amount of calcium in Prenatal Pure Minerals is lower than that of most mass-produced calcium supplements, which typically employ less effective calcium salts. Additionally, calcium is better absorbed in divided doses, rather than in a single, large dose, as is often provided in calcium-only supplements.

The Importance of Vitamins D & K in Bone Health

Vitamin D facilitates calcium absorption in the small intestine by stimulating the synthesis of calcium binding proteins, as well as being involved in bone turnover. Vitamin D deficiency is common, and a myriad of newly identified downstream effects have been elucidated as the importance of this nutrient has come to the forefront in functional medicine. Contributing factors to vitamin D insufficiency include avoidance of sun exposure, use of medications which bind fat and/or reduce cholesterol synthesis and absorption (anticonvulsants, steroid drugs, laxatives, bile acid sequestrants), and women with low hormone levels, as estrogen and progesterone deficiencies impair formation of the active form of vitamin D.

Additional Highlights

Zinc and copper are essential for healthy skeletal development and maintenance. A study on zinc deficiency in animals concluded that zinc deficiency may lower parathyroid hormone and calcitonin levels in the blood, thereby affecting bone mineral deposition and causing defects in bone mineralization.

Prenatal Pure Omega

Highlights:

Prenatal Pure Omega is a blend of high potency omega-3 essential fatty acids (FAs), providing 600 mg EPA, 400 mg DHA, and 200 mg other omega-3 fatty acids from fish oils in each two softgel serving, along with the digestive aid lipase for enhanced lipid absorption.

This product may be an ideal choice when more aggressive applications of omega-3s are desired. Every cell in the body requires FAs to function properly and maintain optimum health, as they are necessary in the process of rebuilding and synthesizing new cells. Two of these fatty acids—omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids—are essential since they cannot be synthesized by the body.

As a result of industrialized farming practices and modern food processing technology, the American diet is very high in omega-6 FAs but low in omega-3s. Correcting this imbalance through foods and supplements can be beneficial for the entire body. FAs have a desirable effect on many conditions; they support heart health, normal cholesterol and triglyceride levels, immune system function, brain and nervous system health, joint mobility, healthy skin and hair, and healthy modulation of the inflammatory response.

The Story Behind Omega-3s

The best sources of omega-3 fats are cold-water, wild-caught fish like sockeye salmon, sardines, and mackerel. The omega-3s that come from marine animals are different from the plant forms (such as walnuts and flaxseed), in that many people cannot effectively convert the plant forms to the animal forms, which are the more potent and biologically active versions that the body ultimately requires.

Omega-3 essential FAs have been shown to create more stable arterial plaque benefiting heart health compared to the omega-6 fatty acids that are derived from unsaturated vegetable oils such as soybean, corn, sunflower, and cottonseed oils.

Since most people do not consume cold-water fish regularly, supplementation is critical for those concerned about any of the health issues listed below, and is also recommended for healthy individuals in order to maintain optimum fatty acid ratios. EPA & DHA Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) is beneficial for supporting healthy brain function, balanced emotions, skin health, normal cholesterol levels, and a proper inflammatory response.

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) supports proper brain development and function, visual acuity, maintenance of normal triglyceride levels and blood pressure, eye development, and a healthy pregnancy for expectant mothers.

We recommend starting these packets prior to trying to get pregnant to help ensure optimized nutrient levels before conception. Two packets should be consumed daily throughout the entire pregnancy and post-pregnancy (particularly if lactating) to nourish the mother and to deliver needed nutrition to the baby, too.

Recommended Use: Take two packets per day with a meal or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
